■ PATRICK Suraci was the star of the show as Gosport Borough made it two from two at home with victory over Staines Town.
The midfielder was the difference between the two sides, setting up Craig McAllister for the opener after just even minutes, with the player-manager heading home into the bottom right corner from Suraci’s looping cross.
Suraci went from provider to scorer soon after, slotting into the bottom left corner after the ball fell kindly to him.
