ENGLAND OUT BUT NO MEANS DOWN

PROUD England bowed out of the UEFA Regions’ Cup in Romania yesterday – but kept their unbeaten record in tact.
The Three Lions have been represented by Step 7 players from the North Riding League this week and gave themselves a chance of qualifying for the latter knockout stages after securing successive draws against Slovakia and the host nation.
But while yesterday’s 1-1 draw against Ireland, thanks to a Robbie Keenan strike, kept spirits high, it wasn’t enough to prevent Romania from going through.
