AFC MANSFIELD chairman Andy Saunders has apologised to supporters after the club failed ground grading criteria and will now be relegated to Step 5.
Formed in 2012, the club have been enjoying their first season at Step 4 following promotion from the Northern Counties East League and sat comfortably nine points above the drop before the weekend action.
