CHERTSEY TOWN diehard Barry Tur ner thought he’d seen it all at his club – now he’s preparing to walk out at Wembley!
The life-long Curfews fan has been involved at Alwyns Lane for over 40 years, but hails this as his best ever season.
Tur ner has held numerous voluntary roles at Chertsey since his first experience of the club aged 11.
“I lost my dad when I was that age, I used to come with him and I’ve been here ever since,” said the 53-year-old. “I was on the committee for four years, my wife used to do the bar. I used to work on the turnstiles...
