PICTURESQUE: The castle overlooking Richmond Town – England’s most scenic football ground

WELCOME to Richmond Town, officially, the most beautiful setting of any football ground in the country.
The Wearside League outfit’s Earls Orchard ground –which has medieval Richmond Castle as its backdrop – came first in an online poll to find the most scenic ground in England.
The poll was staged by FC Non-League Football, a company which films Non-League games and produces highlights packages.
