COOKE HANDED HIS BIG BREAK

BRAD Cooke – who captained Northwich Victoria to the semi-finals of the FA Vase last season – has stepped into management after being named as the new boss of West Didsbury & Chorlton AFC.
Cooke, 33, will be assisted by Northwich goalkeeping coach Robert Sadler at West Didsbury, who have just been relegated from the North West Counties Premier Division after finishing second from bottom.
Former Atherton LR manager Warren Jones joins as first-team coach from Atherton Collieries, where he had been assistant.
