PERSHORE Town have ditched their bid to join the exodus of West Midlands (Regional) clubs to the Hellenic League.
Town withdrew their appeal to the FA for sideways move at the 11th hour, following rivals Malvern Town, Hereford Lads Club, Pegasus Juniors and Wellington.
The FA has been trying to raise the number of teams in the division, the borders of which have moved north.
But Pershore pulled back after being told of a rule in which they must have made their case for a lateral move to the FA by March 31, and had not done so.
