NATIONAL LEAGUE newcomers Chorley have made striker Chris Holroyd their first summer signing with more new faces expected to arrive at Victory Park.
The 32-year-old has joined the National League North play-off winners following his release from Wrexham where he featured 30 times last season, scoring four goals.
The experienced forward has played in League One for Brighton & Hove Albion, Preston North End and Morecambe, but is known by Non-League fans for his spell at Macclesfield Town where he appeared almost 150 times.
