HAVANT & WATERLOOVILLE enjoyed the vast majority of the chances yet they were kept to a draw by a dogged Welling United on their first match after relegation from the top flight of non-League.
A large crowd were present to see the start of the Paul Doswell era and they saw a lot of attacking threat but were left disappointed that for all their possession they could not get the win. The home side took the lead in the 12th minute.
