Ian’s dream

THE ultimate dream for Worcester City megafan Ian Pardoe came true when he was allowed to turn out for his beloved Midland League Premier Division team at the age of 41 – to celebrate his stag party.
Pardoe, who regularly plays five-a-side football with friends, was picked as one of four substitutes for last Saturday’s friendly against landlords Bromsgrove Sporting, who won 3-2.
With just 34 seconds to go, Pardoe was brought on as replacement for striker Demetri Brown, but failed to get a touch of the ball.
