FAIRCLOUGH FINALLY GAINED SOME REDEMPTION

PAUL FAIRCLOUGH managed two swashbuckling Conference title- winning teams – both with very different outcomes.
First came his Stevenage Borough side featuring a young Barry Hayles who had been picked up playing for Willesden Hawkeye.
The future Premier League striker hit 29 goals – topping the overall scoring charts – that 1995-96 season as they romped to the championship.
