PEACOCKS STRUTTING PROUD RUN ROLLS ON

TAUNTON extended their unbeaten run to nine league games but it was a close run thing come the end.
The game started at a frenetic pace before settling down, with neither side able to capitalise on some good approach play.
After James Clark’s goal had been disallowed for the visitors, the Peacocks took the lead on 37 minutes.
And it was Ollie Chamberlain who tucked the ball over the line from close range after Jamie Short’s cross-shot had deflected off the bar.
