ELIOT GOLDTHORP’S hattrick fired Mossley into the next round of the FA Trophy to avenge last season’s defeat at Cleethorpes.
Only three minutes had elapsed when Goldthorp curled in a delightful freekick.
The home side hit back quickly, the lively Lewis Collins finishing off an excellent team move to restore parity.
Mossley restored their advantage just beyond the halfhour mark, Goldthorp showing good awareness to prod home after a scramble in the six-yard box.
The second period saw an action replay, with an early free-kick from Goldthorp....
