BARKING were the victors in the wet conditions at Mayesbrook Park with victory over first-time opponents Guernsey.
Guernsey started the first half the brighter and had a loud penalty appeal for handball turned down after 13 minutes.
The visitors looked confident but Barking took the lead after 38 minutes as a drop-kick over the top left Michael Dixon in space to find Abs Seymour in the box, with the striker caressing home.
