SOUTHERN LEAGUE
BIGGLESWADE defied their lowly league position at play-off chasing Daventry Town.
The hosts were looking to move into the play-off spots and almost led after 26 seconds when Aaron King headed just over.
Seconds later and a long ball over the top was headed clear by Town goalkeeper Iustin Cerga, However, Kieran Barnes’ first touch allowed the ball to sit up nicely and he volleyed the ball into the empty net from 30 yards out.
