BOTH sides cancelled each other out in this dour encounter at Yarnton Road.
Tommy Castle had an early shot blocked for the hosts and proved the biggest threat, firing just over a few moments later.
Kidlington keeper Christian Lawrence was at his sharpest to maintain the deadlock as the visitors came more into the game, pulling off one strong save with his legs.
Leam Howards could have put the hosts ahead before half-time but Kempston keeper Carl Knox was equal to his effort.
