FORMER Premier League striker Julian Joachim has signed for United Counties League Division One outfit Bourne Town as a player/coach.
The Wakes obtained international clearance for the 45-yearold former Leicester City, Aston Villa, Coventry City and Leeds United player, who began the season with Gibraltar National League outfit Europa Point.
Joachim is a close friend of Simon Daws, who replaced Rob Middleton as manager of Bourne after they slumped to the foot of the table after six successive defeats.
