SUCCESS: Peterborough Sports have won three promotions under Jimmy Dean, inset

IT TOOK them 99 years to reach the FA Cup third qualifying round for the first time in their history but, 12 months on, Jimmy Dean’s Peterborough Sports have done it again! The Turbines took the scalp of National League North Guiseley last weekend to tee up a trip to National League promotion hopefuls AFC Fylde.
It’s a run which marks another feather in the cap for Dean, who has been on a remarkable journey with the Turbines since moving into the hot seat at Lincoln Road in 2015.
