MARK JONES fell 011 his sword after three years at Oxford City only hours before seeing the Hoops land Solihull Moors in the first round proper of the FA Cup.
Instead of preparing to host Moors to Marsh Lane after Monday night’s televised draw, a ‘mutual decision’ led to his exit 48 hours after masterminding a 2-1 win over Margate.
Jones succeeded Justin Merritt at the National League South club in December 2016. Director of football Merritt was caretaking for yesterday’s clash with Slough Town.
