Liam hails Hatters takeover

LIAM MCALINDEN predicts “exciting times ahead” for Stockport County – and a welcome end to their decade of turmoil.
The 26-year-old striker turned his back on a number of Football League suitors this week to join the Hatters on a shortterm deal from FC Halifax Town until the end of the season.
It comes in the week when local businessman Mark Stott agreed a deal to take over the National League club, sparking the dawn of a fresh new era at Edgeley Park.
