RADCLIFFE FC have expressed their “sincere thanks” to Jon Macken, who stood down as manager of the BetVictor Northern Premier League club on Friday.
The former Manchester City and Preston North End striker came in as successor to Joe Gibbons in September 2017 and led the club through its historic name change from Radcliffe Borough in time for the start of the 2018-19 season.

Confirming Macken’s resignation, a club statement read: “The board wish to inform that manager Jonathan Macken has stepped down with immediate effect.
