I UNDERSTAND chairman do what they have to do for the best of their club, but AFC Fylde chief David Haythornthwaite has gone way too far.
After somehow seeing his side on the verge of relegation, he tried to convince the National League that the North and South divisions should not play play-offs, ensuring only one team gets relegated.
