MICKLEOVER 1
A FIRST-HALF penalty from Mason Warren earned Mickleover a win at Tamworth.
Dexter Walters, Bilal Yafai and Ryan Beswick all had early efforts as Tamworth dominated while Henri Wilder flashed a header wide.
But the Lambs were stunned by a Mickleover opener on 34 minutes. Aaron Forde was adjudged to have brought down Ben Gowling inside the box and Warren coolly slotted home the penalty.
Paddy Webb flashed another effort wide for the visitors. Walters and Beswick both had opportunities as Tamworth looked for an equaliser after the break.
