A TRIALIST bagged the crucial goal as Hampton & Richmond earned a narrow win at Gosport.
The hosts started off the better team. Dan Wooden got free from his man and his curling shot was brilliantly tipped around the post by the keeper.
However, as the game went on Hampton started to dominate. In the 25th minute a free-kick from 25 yards by a Beavers trialist hit the crossbar.
In the 47th minute, Hampton struck. Ryan Hill’s cross was met by a trialist, who, free in the box, turned and scored.
