DANNY Whitaker admits he never thought he would become mana ger of Macclesfield – but has now already begun preparations for building his squad.
The Silkmen legend made almost 400 appearances for the club over two spells and 11 seasons, becoming caretaker manager on three occasions and playing a key part in their memorable National League title success in 2018.
