Stalybridge Celtic 1-2 Curzon Ashton: Tasty Bunn stuns Celtic

CURZON had a wonder strike from substitute Jack Bunn, an inspired keeper Chris Renshaw and the width of a post to thank for their Tameside derby win at a sundrenched Bower Fold.

Celtic took the lead inside the first minute with new signing Jack Ryan converting Scott Bakkor’s defence-splitting pass.
Steve Brogan went close with a free-kick which Renshaw did well to tip over but Curzon equalised against the run of play on 36 minutes when two trialists combined and a looping header evaded Grant Shenton in the Celtic goal.
