SOLIHULL Moors maintained their unbeaten start to pre-season with a hard-fought victory over their National League North hosts.

All the goals came in an entertaining opening half that started with Moors’ Jordan Cranston almost looping a ball into the Alfreton net after just eight minutes only for keeper George Willis to tip it over.
The opener came on 15 minutes and Cranston was again involved, picking out Adam Rooney who flicked the ball on for Joe Sbarra to curl his effort just inside the far post.
