BANBURY United warmed up for their maiden National League North season by defeating Easington Sports to retain the Ron Thomas Cup.
The Puritans dominated from the start and it was no surprise when Connor Roberts fired home from outside the area from 20 yards on 15 minutes.
They continued to control the play and Georgio Rasulo fired over the Easington bar.
Banbury made it number two on 37 minutes from a corner from Morgan Roberts. Harvey Bennett fired in from ten yards.
