JAKE Hesketh’s scorching strike matched the sizzling temperatures on a busy day of pre-season friendlies as Eastleigh hit Gosport Borough for six.
The midfielder’s sweet strike capped an impressive afternoon’s work by the Spitfires, who saw Danny Whitehall and Tristan Abrahams each score twice.
Lyle Simpson also scored for the visitors with Ryan Woodford bagging a consolation for the hosts in the 6-1 defeat.
