THE return of “El Jurassico” saw old foes Poole Town and Weymouth face off in this friendly in sweltering south coast conditions.
Southern League Poole made the brighter start with Will Spetch forcing Terras keeper Tommy Scott to tip the ball over the bar after five minutes. Luke Holmes’ goal line clearance denied Weymouth before Luke Holmes set up Toby Holmes who neatly rounded the keeper to slot in to an empty net on the stroke of half-time.
