EVERTON’S youngsters were far too strong for Southport running out comfortable winners with young gun Stan Mills the star of the show, netting a hat-trick.
The opening goal came after four minutes when Mills was brought down by Jack Bainbridge and he picked himself up before confidently converted the resulting penalty kick.
The lead was doubled eight minutes later when Tom Cannon netted at the far post following a corner.
