A PRE-SEASON friendly in name only, both Hampton and Richmond Borough and Woking were up for this game, showing a great level of intensity.
The game immediately sprung into life with a penalty to Hampton on 13 minutes as Jake Gray rounded Craig Ross who fouled him in the process.
Alfy Whittingham stepped up to take the penalty but it was a tame effort and Ross saved easily down to his right.
The game settled into a steady pace; a physical battle with little by way of chances.
