A PAIR of own goals at either end of the first half ensured a match of few chances ended all square.
Full-back Lewis Hudson’s drive into the left of the box inspired the opener for Redditch, his shot whacked the inside of the post and cannoned in off City defender Tyreace Brown in the 11th minute.
United had the better of the opening exchanges, flashing in a series of crosses which City dealt with well.
