WREXHAM breezed past homeboy Robbie Savage’s Macclesfi eld FC as football fi nally returned to the Racecourse.
Ollie Palmer’s flicked header would be doubled by James Jones’ genius scuff to give Wrexham a two-goal lead at half time.
And further headed goals from Aaron Hayden and Tom O’Connor in the second half ensured a pleasing four-goal victory for the National League title favourites, as players gained precious minutes on the field.
