STORM WINS THE DAY AT COASTERS…

A THUNDERSTORM at Kellamergh Park meant the friendly between AFC Fylde and Barnsley was abandoned.
The visitors had a 2-0 lead courtesy of Devvante Cole and Herbie Kane before the referee called the match off.
The Tykes scored the game’s opener when Liam Kitching played a through ball to Cole, who was left alone on goal for him to slot into the net. The Coasters responded. After a lovely crossfield ball by Danny Whitehead to Trialist C, he was able to cut inside and force Ben Killip into an instinctive stop.
