KING’S Lynn Town started their pre-season preparations with a heavy defeat at the hands of near-neighbours Norwich City at The Walks.
The Championship outfit were a class above the Linnets and took a 5-1 lead into the interval after a dominant first-half display.
National League North Lynn fielded a od, forcing shot-stopper number of new players and trialists as they look to rebuild their threadbare squad, against a strong Norwich side featuring four of their summer arrivals.
