A RAUCOUS crowd of 883 witnessed Droylsden’s final home match of pre-season following the club’s historic re-entry into the football pyramid this summer.
Konner Lamb’s goal five minutes from time gave Heaton Stannington victory over thew Bloods at a blustery Butcher’s Arms Stadium – their fifth straight preseason victory.
In a game that looked to be ending goalless, Lamb was put through by debutant Tomas Boothroyd and his low shot trickled past home goalkeeper Connor Leach.
