IN a battle between Northern Premier Diamonds AFC and Southern League new boys Leighton Town, this five-goal game was as inconsistent as the weather.
The hosts started strongest and took the lead on 11 minutes through Ethan Johnston.
A defiant block from Luke Pyman kept the deficit to one, but only until Albie Hall’s smart flick levelled things up.
