HEREFORD had veteran strike pair Andy Williams and Adam Rooney on the scoresheet as they opened their pre-season campaign with a 2-0 win at city neighbours West-fields.
Williams had already gone close before he opened the scoring five minutes before the break, the 37-year-old former Swindon Town, Doncaster Rovers and Cheltenham Town frontman profiting from teammate Cosmos Matwasa’s good work.
That was all that separated the sides until the 85th minute when 36-year-old Rooney doubled the Bulls’ lead.
