GATESHEAD made it six wins from seven in pre-season, racking up 26 goals and conceding just three, as they ended Farsley Celtic’s unbeaten warm-up campaign on Tyneside.
For Farsley, it was a tactical out-of-possession test as Gateshead scored three times in each half with trialist strikers sharing four of the goals.
Ryan Watson almost opened the scoring for the Celts before the floodgates opened on four minutes, Trialist 16 heading home a Greg Olley cross.
