NATIONAL League North new-boys Worksop Town eased into their pre-season programme with a comfortable 4-1victory against SJR Worksop.
Liam Hughes, Hamza Bencherif and Max Eastwood were on target for the Tigers before a late fourth sealed victory and the Worksop Memorial Cup. Aaron Redfern netted for SJR.
A second half hat-trick from former Aldershot Town forward Lorent Tolaj saw Port Vale defeat Kidsgrove Athletic 7-0.
Tolaj scored a penalty, as well as a lovely, lofted strike and a scissor kick to help the League One new boys to victory.
