NEW South Shields manager Ian Watson saw his side concede two goals in each half in their opening friendly against a strong Sunderland XI preparing for the Premier League.
A sell-out crowd of 3,800 at the 1st Cloud Arena saw the Black Cats take the lead inside two minutes – French striker Wilson Isidor slotting past Jasper Sheik from close range following a defence-splitting pass from Enzo Le Fee.
