BILLERICAY Town warmed up for the new Isthmian Premier Division with a 3-0 victory over a young AFC Wimbledon side at the New Lodge.
And the home supporters enjoyed seeing their side make the perfect start with Elliot Long lobbing the Dons keeper for the opener inside five minutes.
Some impressive goalkeeping kept the tally down until ten minutes into the second half when Frankie Merrifield forced the ball home for Town’s second.
