RAMSEY’S OUT OF VASE FINAL

SOUTH Shields striker Stephen Ramsey must suffer the heartbreak of missing out on the club’s Wembley appearance in the Buildbase FA Vase final – after sustaining a broken tibia on Thursday.
Ramsey, 27, Shields’ longest-serving player with more than 300 appearances in 10 seasons, was stretchered off the pitch after being involved in a collision in the middle of the park in their 2-1 Northern League win at Sunderland RCA.
