CASH STOW-ED AWAY

STOWMARKET Town are set to be handed a £10,000 windfall in their quest to return to the top flight of the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League after 12 years.
On Wednesday, Stowmarket Town Council’s service delivery committee unanimously approved the club’s application for £10,000 of “developer funding.”
The full council is expected to approve the grant.
The money comes fromagreements with housing developers where funds are paid towards community facilities.
