A NEW LEESE OF LIFE AT ENFIELD

ANDY LEESE will build on the firm foundations laid by predecessor Bradley Quinton after being confirmed as Enfield Town’s new boss. Leese, in charge of Chesham United for 11 years up until March, will work with close friend Darren Purse – the ex-Birmingham City central defender – at the Ryman Premier Towners. Quinton left Enfield to return to Braintree Town last week.
Leese knows expectations will be high after Quinton masterminded their best season for a long time, finishing in the playoff places before being defeated by Dulwich Hamlet in the semi-final.
