PURPLE PATCH IS ALL OVER FOR IAIN

IAIN Humphrey has quit as owner and a director of United Counties Premier newboys Daventry Town after 10 years.
Humphrey has now divided his shares between the three remaining directors and will have no further involvement with the club, who have been promoted as Division One champions.
He has transferred the lease for the land occupied by the club to Daventry Town Football Club Ltd, which aims to move forward as a not-for-profit organisation.
