Name change won’t stik that easily

I READ with amusement Sam Elliott’s comment that it would take time for people to get used to calling the old Ryman League by its new name of Bostik (NLP, July 2).
How right he is! There are still many people these days, including some in the sports media, who still refer to Non- League’s top division as the Vauxhall Conference, a name that actually ceased to exist in 1998!
