TRIBUTE FOR SAINTS’ CLIVE

MOURNING St Albans City have promised to honour tragic supporter Clive Churchhouse, who died at their Clarence Park home after falling from the stadium’s roof.
The 71-year-old – born and bred in the Hertfordshire town – lost his life after the accident in the build-up to the National League South club’s friendly game with Luton Town on July 18. He was airlifted to London’s St George’s Hospital, but couldn’t be saved.
His death has rocked the club and the area, with a health and safety investigation closing the ground until late last week.
