REAL DEAL: Artificial grass is here to stay

SO, clubs can win promotion in the National League if you play on a 3G pitch (NLP, September 3), but can, in effect, suffer a double releg ation if they choose to stick with their pitch and aren’t eligible for promotion to the Football League? Why allow them to play in the first place?
For me, there is nothing wrong with a 3G pitch, it generates much-needed cash. The National League should back their clubs.
